The topic of this essay is “outdoor learning”, taking Canadian forest and nature schools as an example. First of all, the essay points out the importance of outdoor teaching and also points out that teachers’ teaching and students’ learning behavior are practical behaviors, which should keep pace with the times. Because teaching is not just about imparting knowledge. From the perspective of students, students need to fully feel the sense of identity in learning activities in order to develop the best learning effect. Although outdoor learning is the most primitive and simple teaching method, it has been highly praised by many education experts. In addition, another important goal of outdoor learning requires students to form a kind of awe for nature under the guidance of teachers, thus, to think about the harmony between man and nature. For example, in outdoor teaching, attention should be paid not only to impart knowledge to students, but also to let students have a preliminary understanding of various specific matters

such as “nature” and “forest”. Teach them more about forests, nature and how nature cooperates and how things work together.
